Slow-Cooker Roast Beef Hash
About this Recipe
Hearty meat and potatoes in a crock pot - set it and forget it. Full of flavor and doable for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Ingredients
1 large Sweet Onion (chopped (about 1 cup))
2 lb. Beef top round steak (trimmed of fat and cut into 1/2 in. cubes)
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 package Brown Gravy Mix
1 cup Water
3 1/2 cups Frozen potatoes (O'Brien with onions and peppers (from 28-oz bag))
1 cup Frozen Peas

1 cup Frozen corn

Preparation
Step 1
In a slow cooker, layer onion, beef, salt, pepper and dry gravy mix. Pour water over everything.
Step 2
Cover. Cook on low heat setting 8-9 hours.
Step 3
Thaw potatoes in refrigerator.
Step 4
30 minutes before serving, stir in thawed potatoes and frozen peas.
Step 5
Increase heat setting to High. Cover and cook 25-30 minutes or until potatoes and peas are tender.
