About this Recipe

Quick dessert coming right up! No need to mess up the entire kitchen for a dessert when you just have to have that something sweet. Bonus... it has a lot of healthy ingredients inside a cup of dessert.

Ingredients

1 Banana (Very Ripe & Mashed)
1 Egg
1 Tbsp Milk of Choice
1/3 Cup Quick Oats
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
2 Tbsp Chocolate Chips
Alternative(s):
2 Tbsp Dairy Free Chocolate Chips
1 Tbsp Peanut Butter (For Topping)

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, stir together the mashed banana, egg, and milk until combined.

Step 2

Stir in the oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until just combined.

Step 3

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Step 4

Pour the batter into 1 (12 oz) mug.

Tip: If the mug used is too small, the batter will bubble over. Put a small plate under the mug while microwaving for easier clean up.

Step 5

Microwave 1- 1 1/2 minutes. Check after 1 minute. (It is always better under “baked”.) Top with a dollop of peanut butter if desired.

Step 6

Eat immediately while it is warm and gooey.
