Protein Coffee Smoothie (No Banana)

Nothing says “I’m a mom” more than cold coffee. Just roll with it. Take that power back. In fact, let’s add some protein to it. Yeah, you are in charge of your destiny.

Ha. Well, we do our best, don’t we? Okay, here is what to do.

 

Ingredients: 

1/2 cup brewed coffee (not hot, so like…the one on your counter from earlier)

4 medjool dates, pitted (tip: soak in hot water for a few minutes if they are firm. This will help them blend easier)

1 tablespoon hemp hearts

1 tablespoon nut butter

1 overflowing up of ice cubes

1 scoop vanilla or chocolate protein powder (both are good!)

 

Directions:

Toss in the blender. Blend until smooth. Enjoy.
