Baked Turkey Meatballs

I love baking meatballs because it makes clean-up a breeze! They are also versatile.

Miles likes his plain with ketchup. The rest of us like ours in a marinara sauce. If I feel like a lighter meal, I make easy instant pot spaghetti squash alongside it.

 

Ingredients:

1 pound lean ground turkey (you could use beef if you prefer!)

1/3 cup gluten free 1:1 flour (or breadcrumbs if not gluten free)

1/2 cup diced onions

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 egg

1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, grated

1 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1/2 tbsp dried parsley

 

Directions:

1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet, or coat with cooking spray. (Parchment paper makes clean up even easier).

2: Mix together onion, bread crumbs, garlic, egg, cheese, and spices.

3: Add in ground turkey and mix until combined.

4: Form into 1-inch balls and place on prepared cookie sheet.

5: Bake for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 10 minutes.
