Ingredients:

2 cups milk of choice (I like macadamia; canned coconut milk makes this VERY creamy and yummy if you have it!)

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup milk of choice + 3 tbsp cornstarch*

1 tbsp vanilla extract

1/2-3/4 cup chocolate chips

*You will mix these together in their own bowl or shake in a mason jar, and set aside.

Directions:

1: Whisk together 1/2 cup milk of choice and 3 tbsp cornstarch and set aside.

2: In medium saucepan, warm the 2 cups milk of choice, cocoa powder, and maple syrup.

3: Once the milk is warm, mix in the cornstarch/milk mixture. Whisk consistently for 2 minutes.

4: Legit, don’t stop stirring. Then lower to a simmer and cook for an additional minute.

5: Turn off heat and add in chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir to combine.

6: Transfer to a container and let cool in refrigerator for at least 3 hours. It will thicken as it cools.

Top with whipped cream and berries, and YUM!
