GMS IS LIFE CHANGING IN THE BEST WAY!
I started GMS around 15 months ppm and went right into SLAM. Worked through SLAM for a whole year and now I’m on Advanced week 6. I feel like a MF’n BEAST when I finish my workouts! I’ve got some strong-ass legs and glutes that power through leg day. (Wait…every day is leg day at GMS.) I’m so proud of my body. Comfortable in my skin. Happy to dress myself in new clothes that fit my new body. I’m just taking a minute to celebrate ME and thank Ashley for this outstanding program. I have done some hard ass workouts and am a better woman inside and out because of them! I tell everyone I know about GMS because it’s life changing in the BEST way!

CONFIDENCE AND JOY IN NSVS
My NSV is that I finally got to work on a project I’ve been begging my husband to do. I broke down and lugged a whole bunch of fencing slats and posts from around the yard. While I was doing it I was like, “I’ve been training for this!” I was thinking about each exercise I do that correlates to these movements. It involved squatting, pressing above my head, staggered stance, the grocery bag hold thing, and more. After loading we had to take this and more to the landfill. (First time there. While stinky, it was fascinating!) I’m tired but my back doesn’t hurt or anything.
It wasn’t until I did the Get Mom Strong workout program that I got back into a body that I love and appreciate. My goal isn’t “skinny” anymore. It’s to be STRONG! So I can lift by baby to the sky. Carry my 45lb toddler to bed with ease. Give them a bath with no back pain. I don’t focus on stretch marks or a little bloating. It’s a NEW body now! This body carried two babies! It’s wider. It’s looser in the belly. And it’s mine!
I’m confident. I’m happy. And I got fit for ME. Take your body back!

I live in the Dominican Republic, gave birth to my son 15 months ago, and honestly I don’t know if they have pelvic floor therapy available to women here. I just remember my body feeling so heavy/lethargic and my lower back hurt from bad breastfeeding posture. I wanted a program that would help me heal, build strength, and motivate me.
With SLAM I have made a physical and emotional transformation. I feel way stronger!
I love my postpartum body even more than before because of my muscle gains. I don’t have pain anymore and I am ready for more babies. I would like to say a big thanks to Ashley for creating this amazing program. I have often called her a magician or wizard to be able to get me, a person who swore she worked out with people because they were motivating, to look only at myself for motivation and to show up for every day.
Every day is progress, it's all about the process.
SLAM GAINS
My body is changing every day because of SLAM, getting stronger because of SLAM, I play with my very active three-and-a-half-year-old son and almost one-year-old baby because of SLAM. I have shoveled snow for days (Snowmageddon 2022) with gratitude to my body for what it can do because of you, Ashley. I was called the Energizer Bunny by my neighbor. So just thank you.

I took down my baby’s crib, moved a double mattress and box spring up a flight of stairs, and set up my daughter’s big girl bed today. BY MYSELF. I don't need to force myself to do household chores anymore, because I have the energy to do them.
I don’t own a scale so I’m not sure how many pounds I’ve lost but I know I’m down 4.5 inches in my waist and 4 inches in my hips! I used to be a swimmer in high school (state champion and everything), but I haven’t worked out since then and now that I’m back into it it’s part of my routine, so thank you again!
Thank you for all your hard work it’s really paying off physically and mentally for me. Ashley, you are my role model.

I am a rock climber but struggled to return to climbing after my baby (2 years ago) due mainly to core weakness. The traditional exercises I was doing to recover from pregnancy were not helping in any way. I felt weak and hopeless and didn’t know what to do. UNTIL I found Strong Like a Mother a year ago. I started with Core Basics, then to SLAM Bridge and now I’m halfway through SLAM and I’ve never felt stronger! I recently went rock climbing for the first time in two years and was more than pleasantly surprised at how strong I felt and could do harder moves that I previously struggled with. I give full credit to reconnecting with my core and other neglected muscles that I built with the SLAM programs. Thanks for getting me back to things I love!

This past weekend, I traveled to Telluride to do the Via Ferrata (Iron Road) and in Ouray. It was probably one of the craziest things I have ever done. I am not particularly afraid of heights but I haven’t in my life had a lot of confidence in myself to be able to do things, especially because I lacked the physical strength to do things.
After the birth of my second child and the absolute mess that two pregnancies left my body and core, I set out on a journey to become stronger than I ever have been, stronger for my two girls, but also stronger for me! I spent the whole weekend being stronger for me and able to do crazy things that I love.

I’m just so ding dang grateful for this program! I’m 11 months postpartum and I summited a mountain on my mountain bike! Biking a black diamond, techy rock climb, with an elevation gain of 2,500 ft. I’m only on week 18 of SLAM (have been working on it since July), but these workouts have helped my core strength TREMENDOUSLY (and legs). There is no way I could have done that climb without a strong core. It’s victories like that climb that keep me craving the SLAM workouts. Thank you, thank you!

I am halfway through Slam Bridge (and loving it!!) but still super insecure about how I look. I knew this was not an “easy fix” program and I love that but it’s still hard to work so hard and not see your body changing in the ways you’d hope. Why can’t 20 lbs just melt away?!
ANYWAY, I had to share a huge NSV – we were at Disney World last week with our three kids who are 10, 8, and 6. The kids were total troopers but my 8 and 6 year olds asked to be carried a lot. I carried them both off and on all 5 days were in the park and never once got tired or sore! I have never felt so strong and capable and hearing my husband comment on how strong I looked carrying them effortlessly feels amazing. I hope so much to pass on to my kids the desire to be strong and capable over the desires to fit into a certain pants size!

I spent the last 4 days in Colorado with some friends. We walked all over Denver, climbed up the stairs at Red Rocks Amphitheater, and then hiked to Emerald Lake at Rocky Mountain National Park. I felt AMAZING. I was thanking Ashley for every squat she’s made me do by the end of it all. Even my friends commented on the fact that I wasn’t huffing and puffing or needing breaks like them. I’ll be honest, I’ve been in a rut lately not noticing many outward changes in my body. But I felt so strong on this trip, which made me realize how much is changing on the inside. So if you’re feeling the same, stick with it!
